BISQUE

Paint it yourself...

All ceramic fixtures come standard in Bisque - an unfinished, paintable surface.

Bisque (code: BIS) should be specified if you plan to paint the fixture yourself.

We recommend...

Because Bisque is porous, we recommend that you seal the unfinished Bisque surface with paint or lacquer.

To paint Bisque...

Bisque is painted using the same paints as used to paint drywall or plaster. It is best that you first apply a primer to seal the Bisque surface. Then, using a spray gun or a clean, high-quality brush, apply two to three coats of flat, satin or semi-gloss water-base paint made for drywall or plaster.

You may also want to use stenciling, sponging, or other creative techniques to customize your fixture.
